    Beautiful area with welcoming locals

    The location is beautiful. Local pub was very welcoming, in fact all the locals we spoke to were friendly . Do go in the little shop, it's got more than you'd expect and staff are so lovely and helpful. It was nice to get back to a warm pod each evening and getting to see deer roaming about the grounds on our return.the pod was spacious and mainly clean on our arrival. The hot tub felt private and was a treat we don't normally factor into our stays. Correspondence adequate and prompt throughout.

    We did not see any staff/ owners at all and we were there 4 nights. Because we were there 4 nights you do start to miss some things like places to put things , hooks , lack of kitchen utensils, bowls, trays etc. I did not use the frying pans as they weren't very nice looking at all. When I stripped the bed on our last morning there were a few stains on the duvet that weren't from us and there were no pillow protectors either. Shower room is small and lacks privacy because of an I'll fitted sliding door. The handbook/ file of information also has a very strict write up of do's and dont's , I can only imagine what has happened in the past to warrant such an information pack which I may have appreciated if we'd actually seen any owners / staff.
