Great Day
Attended a summer social. Lovely historic building and beautiful grounds, barbecue and hog roast were great but what made the experience so good was the staff, friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble, special mention must go to Lizzie and Morgan - thank you for a great day

Just Ok
The main building looks stunning, however the annexe is a little lack lustre and nothing special. Breakfast was chaotic. No tables available. No cutlery, no milk. Basic breakfast included in the price we paid. Just cereal, toast/fruit. If you’re going for the sales pitch do your homework beforehand. Very limited European properties in pretty remote locations. Just not our cup of tea but we all have varying needs

Great Wedding , poor hotel room
Attended a wedding , which couldnt have been more wonderful , beautifully organised , exquisite food. However, the hotel itself Claims to be mobility impaired accessible ...it is, if you want to struggle a wheelchair over uneven terrain . I was placed in the Henry VII room Unbelievably uncomfortable , not one singular comfortable chair but rather a single wooden chair , wallpaper peeling off the walls , the bed so lumpy impossible to get comfortable ...no walk in shower , just one over a bath...Mobility issues ?...forget this place.

Gorgeous hotel
We stayed in this hotel last weekend for a family event. We stayed two nights with the event taking place at the hotel on the Saturday evening. We were booked into a superior room in the Tudor barn (or whatever it was called!). Our room was fabulous. Huge in size with the bathroom upstairs! Coffee and tea maker, complimentary bottle of water, and all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice, all fresh and great quality. The function we attended had a three course dinner which was delicious. Excellent quality food. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and absolutely beautiful. Overall we were really happy with the value for money and would stay again.

Not Our Cup of Tea
We were lucky enough to be invited on a Karma sales pitch weekend. We had a brilliant weekend as the hotel is so accessible for pretty Cotswolds villages and Stratford. The weekend was a lot of fun, the food in the restaurant was superb as were the waiting on staff. The experience was unforgettable and very amusing. Eating breakfast accompanied by Rod Stewart singing 'Do You Think I'm Sexy' and Barry Manilow singing 'Copa Cobana' was a unique experience. We were never quite sure who worked there and who didn't. The bar was a proper pubby bar. Lots of locals in for the football. The exterior of the hotel was beautiful but the interior design and furniture very cheap, random and ill thought through. I had requested a room in the old building as I do have very high standards and am well travelled. It was explained to us that only Karma members get to use these rooms, consequently I was disappointed by our very plain, old fashioned room in the modern block - with furniture you might find in a junk shop not an antique shop. It was extremely hot but two fans were available. The Karma Sales chap (John? From Wigan) was a delight, he was willing to veer away from his scripted pitch to answer my questions and the experience was a pleasure not a pressure. Unfortunately for Karma we calculated that we could get better deals independently and were not confident about the real availability of the glamorous resorts shown to us on video. When it became apparent that we were not going to buy in, a manager Tim? came over and tried a really hard sell, his demeanour was unfriendly and very stressed which confirmed we had made the right decision. We met some lovely people who were renewing their contract so it obviously works for those less keen to do all the research necessary to get good deals independendently. Don't think we were the right market for Karma. We wouldn't return but have made happy memories there. Thank you Karma.
