    Full of character. Very large rooms with secure parking

    Location is excellent - if you can find it. Ignore Google maps and look at door numbers. Almost at end of Hospital Street. Rooms are very large. Parking is very secure. Properties in Cradock are very dated but full of character. If you like modern don't stay in Cradock. We ate at Victoria Manor. Three course meals for 300 rand so not worth self catering.

    We had an issue with the kettle but it was immediately replaced.

    The room is clean, It's with privacy and parking lot

    It's very cold in the evening. No kitchen for cooking food, the hot water will hurt and burn body if not test the water properly. When i arrived at the guest house, i called the host, but he didn't answer the phone, it is automaticly to be voice mail function, then i called him again, he answer the phone the next time, during the process, i used the car to honk the horn, i didn't expect the host will be so irresponsible for the upcoming guest! When he come and opened the big gate of the garden, he told me don't hook the horn, it's a quiet community, but why he didn't open the door since he heard the horn??? Actually he was drinking alcohol during the time, he looks like drunk when we met, i smell the big alcohol taste from him when he talking by his mouth. I have to say, the host is very irresponsible for guest and his work! This is the very bad host i ever see in South Africa, very unfriendly host, if he didn't want to open the door for the guest, he can just tell me and refund the money back to me, we all need respect during the business, if i called you the first time you answered my phone, i clearly will not hook the horn! I wish other tourist guest from other country can avoid terrible experience like this!
