  The host was pleasant and unobtrusive. Although the owners live in the same building, they did not disturb us at all. They were also very kind and provided us with additional pillows upon request. The apartment was clean on arrival and, in our particular unit, surprisingly quiet — we could hardly hear any traffic from the street. There is also convenient parking available in the courtyard, which was very useful for us. The apartment has a washing machine and a small but functional refrigerator. Overall, the cleanliness, quietness, convenient parking and the friendly and helpful attitude of the hosts were definitely the positive aspects of our stay.

  The main problem is that the apartment does not match the description on Booking. It is explicitly advertised as having “1 living room” and “1 separate bedroom.” We specifically chose this apartment because we were travelling with our child and needed a separate bedroom for privacy. In reality, the bedroom is not separate at all: there is no door, partition, curtain or anything else providing visual or acoustic privacy. The sleeping area is simply three steps down from the living area, with both spaces completely open to each other, so in practice all three of us were staying in one open-plan space. This was particularly disappointing considering the price of around €200 per night. Had the actual layout been clearly described as open-plan rather than as an apartment with a separate bedroom, we would have chosen another accommodation. There are also three steps at the entrance and another three between the living and sleeping areas. They are difficult to see at night and can be a safety issue, and the layout is clearly unsuitable for anyone with reduced mobility. The description also states that the apartment has a “fully equipped kitchen” with a stovetop, refrigerator, kitchenware and microwave, but there was no microwave. The stovetop is a portable induction unit that has to be placed on the very small countertop before use, and the kitchen equipment is extremely limited, with only three forks, three knives and three spoons. The advertised sofa is also absent; instead, there is another bed, so there is essentially nowhere comfortable to sit and relax during the day apart from three chairs at the small dining table. The lighting is very poor: the ceiling fixtures have three bulbs each, but only one bulb was working in each fixture. There are no mosquito screens on the windows, which makes ventilation difficult in summer because mosquitoes enter as soon as the windows are opened.

  Ottima soluzione per chi viaggia in macchina

  La posizione per chi viaggia in macchina è molto buona, perché vicino al centro (20 minuti dai ponti più famosi) ma fuori dalla ztl, in un quartiere residenziale.

  In linea di massima andava tutto molto bene. Come ho già detto all'host, forse delle tovagliette per la colazione sarebbero state utili, e la macchinetta del caffè che non funziona con la piastra elettrica (problema aggirato mettendo la moka sulla padella).

  Perfect Location for Exploring Ljubljana

  A great place to stay in Ljubljana. The host was very friendly and accommodating, and the apartment was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The location is excellent — about a 10-minute walk to both the city centre and Tivoli Park, while still being quiet and easily accessible from the main roads. Free parking in the shade was another big plus. Definitely a place I would recommend to others visiting Ljubljana!

  Prezzo non proporzionato ai servizi.

  Appartamento spazioso, abbastanza vicino al centro raggiungibile con una camminata di circa 20 minuti. Possibilità di parcheggiare all'interno del cortile. Proprietario gentile e disponibile

  Davvero troppo costoso rispetto ai servizi offerti (212€ a notte). Non c'era il tappetino di spugna per la doccia (l'abbiamo dovuto chiedere al proprietario che ce lo ha fatto avere subito), c'era un solo asciugamano a testa (il telo doccia), non c'era il bagnoschiuma, ma solo campioncini di shampoo, la cucina era estremamente basic. La porta del bagno è scorrevole e, oltre a non chiudere bene il locale, fatica a scorrere.
