Not 5* for reception customer service / room standard
I would not class this as a 5* resort - far from it. First the positives - The beach is beautiful and the restaurant and bar staff are great (shout out to Diyar, Cemre & all others in main restaurant , Alexander, Mert and Berk - excellent service & drinks in the bars). The choice and quality of food in the main restaurant is exceptional - so much variety at every meal and all dietary requirements catered for. Food is not labelled so you do need to ask staff if you have any allergies but there’s always someone willing to help. Now for the negatives…. No response from hotel via email/ WhatsApp before / after stay - they are just not interested in customer queries / feedback. Reception staff could not care less when checking you in - no hotel facilities / meal information offered. Incorrect information given re gym/spa. We were a group of four families that requested 3 accessible rooms on the same floor - this just proved to be way too much trouble. After waiting in the lobby for a few hours we were finally offered rooms in block 8 - 1 on the ground floor, 3 on the first floor. No lift. We had requested 3 accessible rooms for 3 disabled people. After a lot of discussion and waiting for almost an hour for a bell boy to help transport us and the luggage back to reception, we had a lengthy conversation with a very rude gentleman that thought it was unreasonable to have ground floor rooms close to each other. He was curt and did not smile once or show empathy. I finally managed to get help from a woman who may have been a manager. We then had to wait another 2h before our rooms were ready in Block 4. We finally got our rooms after 5pm. To say that the rooms were even 2* is an exaggeration. The rooms are dark, dated, threadbare carpet, paintwork is grubby, lamp did not work, ants in bedroom, safe did not work, shower had low pressure, thin, old bath towels, and woodwork and floor looked like it had been subject to water damage. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone else to visit either.

Mostly rubbish experience
We went as a family with some friends. Whilst the hotel facilities were first class our room was rubbish, at the most 3* and certainly not 5*. We got our room around 5.30pm instead of 2pm. Many of the staff were rude, especially at the reception desk; the only great service we received was from two members of staff who worked in the restaurant called Diyar and Cemre, who went out of their way to make our experience so enjoyable whenever we visited the restaurant.

Average holiday
We chose this hotel based on recommendations. The price was quite high, so you expect some standard from a hotel that has 5 stars. The reality is the opposite. After one day of staying here, you will see how things work. The rooms are clean and tidy, but they have a problem with towels. Not a single day do they manage the correct number of replacements. To be not just negative. The beach is clean, the sea is amazing, the sun loungers are enough (just in the morning the barriers are towels, although this hotel does not accept, but no one is doing anything about it).By the pool, it's a disaster. But you go to the sea.The waiters on the beach are great, smiling, bringing you what you tell you. They are a big thank you. That's on the beach. Other staff at lunch, and especially at dinner is absolutely messy and focused on Turkish clients. Others are air. Everyone is running around these clients, wearing drinks and taking a plate as much as possible. Obviously, the management of the hotel thinks that this shortcoming compensates for a huge selection of food. There is really enough and everyone will choose. From cheeses, meat, fruits, vegetables and various food modifications. You feel out of place here.Staff without a smile, grumpy. You can count the nice and pleasant staff here on the fingers of one hand. And at the end something funny. They will take you to the room with the suitcases, but the way back nicely and suitcases in your hand.In the morning, there is no staff.I evaluate the hotel max 3+.

Katastrofa
Review of Kaya Artemis Hotel, Cyprus We came here with my family for a holiday we had really been looking forward to, but unfortunately, from the very first moment we arrived, it has been a huge disappointment. The sea is truly beautiful, and the food is tasty – I have to admit that. But the accommodation is an absolute disaster. The moment we entered the room, it almost killed the holiday mood – hair everywhere, dirt, an awful smell, sticky old furniture, and peeling walls. The bathroom is so disgusting that I honestly hate stepping inside. Everything feels old, neglected, and dirty. Yet the hotel presents itself completely differently online. I tried to solve it with an upgrade, but it didn’t really change the overall impression. We still have 7 days left here, but honestly – I already feel like going home. For the money we paid, this is not what anyone expects from a vacation.
