    Locatie. Dichtbij groot winkelcentrum is heel handig. Parkeren voor de deur. Op verzoek werd één extra handdoek en keukendoek verstrekt. Snel antwoord op berichten.

    Armoedig studentikoos appartement. Alles is er, maar voor 3 personen verschillende borden en glazen. Bedden waarvan hoofdbord amateuristisch is vastgeschroefd met latten, valt er bijna af. Vieze versleten placemats (die zou ik echt al heel lang weg hebben gegooid). Poster die wegzakt in de lijst, dat soort dingen. Voor ieder één handdoek. Tussendoor geen schoonmaak of verschoning. Dus de hele vakantie een wasrek in de woonkamer gehad. In communicatie gevraagd om dubbel bed en koffie. Op het eerste werd niet gereageerd, het tweede werd toegezegd. We troffen echter een lege vieze voorraadpot voor koffie. Wel suiker ed aanwezig. De bedden in de 2-persoons kamer staan met het hoofdbord tegen tegenoverliggende muren. Dat is absoluut ongezellig in je vakantie. Tevens moet je dus de hele kamer door zigzaggen om bij het raam te komen. Onbegrijpelijk keuze. Zodra je een bed probeert te verschuiven valt deze uit elkaar. In de buurt zijn veel liefhebbers van luide auto's, dus het raam aan de voorzijde moet echt dicht in de nacht. Wel goede geluidsisolatie in de woning gelukkig. Directe omgeving ook armoedig en rommelig. Communicatie door de verhuurder was erg uitgebreid met vooral heel veel regels en plichten. Dat had mijns inziens vriendelijker gekund. Het centrum van Falkirk zelf is ook vergane glorie, waarschijnlijk door de grote winkelcentra elders. Maar gezellig is anders. Uiteindelijk hebben we een prima vakantie gehad, maar het appartement droeg hier niet aan bij.
