Nice stay on San Cristobal
The location was excellent. Lots of markets and restaurants within a 5 min radius. We appreciated the large patio. Good air conditioning. Nice attentive host.
The stairs needed railing for the last flight and better lighting at night. The motion light wouldn't go on until you climbed several stairs in the dark.

Highly unprofessional, w/ unexpected fees & an attempted charge after being kicked out for no reason
Nothing. They didn't even have fresh water on property like every other place on the island.
I was told through Booking.com messages that I could pay by credit card via PayPal, but when I arrived, I was told there would be a 7% credit card fee. I tried to withdraw cash to avoid the fee, but the ATM would not accept my card. When I went back to discuss the issue, I said the fee is "Highway Robbery" and the staff became confrontational, canceled my booking on the spot, demanded the keys, and forced my family and me to leave. They even called the police, who followed us after we left the property. It was escalated for no reason and my young kids were scared because I didn't like the fee. What made the situation even worse was that after kicking us out, they still tried to charge me for the room through Booking.com. This felt extremely shady and unprofessional. I would strongly advise others not to book here. It seems like they try to scam money out of people. Beware.
