  Dirty bed sheets, bed bugs and fleas. The host kept finding reasons to charge us extra fees

  **Very disappointing experience — unexpected charges and insect bites** We were very disappointed with how our stay was handled. Before checking out, we made a significant effort to clean the house and leave it in very good condition. We cleaned up thoroughly after ourselves, so we were surprised and disappointed when the host charged us an additional cleaning fee. During our stay, my sister and my nephew also experienced multiple insect bites. We were concerned that they could have been caused by bed bugs or fleas, especially since we found a significant amount of dog hair around the house. We reported the issue to the host, but instead of properly addressing our concern, the host dismissed it and insisted that the bites were from mosquitoes. We were then asked to pay an additional $85, as the host claimed that it was our responsibility to pay for the pest control inspection, which we found very frustrating. Honestly, I did not want to complain about anything because we also wanted to have a positive experience. However, since the host keep finding reasons to charge additional fees, I feel it is important to share our experience and concerns. The bed sheets and blankets also looked very old and worn, which was not what we expected from a vacation rental. I wish ro have pictures to share it but I did not plan to leave a bad review. The grill was another issue. It was very dirty and had a strong unpleasant smell. We had to clean it ourselves before using it, and we even covered it with aluminum foil because we did not feel comfortable cooking directly on the grill. Overall, although we made a genuine effort to take good care of the house, the unexpected cleaning charge, old bedding, dirty and smelly grill, and especially the way the insects bite issue was handled left us very disappointed. We would not stay at this property again and would not recommend this property to anyone we would not stay at this property again and would not recommend it to anyone

  We will be back!

  We recently stayed at Kids Paradise Cabin and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent—just a short distance from the village, making it easy to get to shops and restaurants. The cabin itself had everything you could possibly need. There were plenty of TVs, reliable internet, and lots of space for everyone to relax comfortably. When we arrived, the house was spotless and everything worked perfectly. The outdoor patio was one of our favorite spots. It’s large and beautifully set up with a barbecue and plenty of seating areas to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Even though we didn’t travel with kids, we still had a great time in the playroom. The pool table was a lot of fun, and there was also a Pac-Man machine loaded with games. The house has several cozy sitting and reading areas as well, which made it easy for everyone to find a quiet place to unwind. The owners were very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would absolutely recommend Kids Paradise Cabin, and we’re already planning to return next year.
