    This was horrrrrrrivle. No office /no staff. No main lodge or anything that I could find. Roaming the property for hours at night and apparently I was at the neighbors. No signage saying that the main lodge isn’t someone’s private cabin??? Broken doors. No working WiFi. No cell service so I couldn’t call or email or message anyone to try to even find it or my room. Horrrrrible

    Clean and private cabin within earshot of waterfall and a million coqui frogs. Friendly and helpful staff provided all we needed for a relaxing stay. The only negative we experienced was the poor WiFi, which we needed for trip planning and checkout.

    This has been one of the most special places I’ve ever been to. The sounds of the forest at night are surreal and can touch your soul. I’ve only spent one night at the cabin but I will never forget my time here. The cabins are super cute, clean, and comfortable. The short path to the lodge with bathrooms is marked by some torches on the ground at night. The sky cleared up in the middle of the night so I could enjoy the stars while walking to the lodge. AMAZING.

    Kikala Waterfall Lodge is a unique experience. Nature is your lullaby. We fell asleep to the sound of flowing water, croaking frogs, and the birds chirping. The rain shower added to the experience. The cabin was clean. The lodge had all you would need -kitchen, bathroom with shower, a living space with couch and chairs. We enjoyed the easy hike to the waterfall and opted not to swim due to cloud cover. The grounds have all you except to see in a Hawaiian rainforest. It is not your traditional hotel experience, but a step into Hawaiian life.

    We enjoyed our staff. Perf3xr amount of space for the six in our group. I expected to check in at a central location but instead, found the rental (finally). It was unlocked and there was a welcome note and binder with information for our stay. There is no cellular service, so we were unable to contact the property to confirm the check in process. Overall good stay. It was awesome listening to the frogs and wildlife at night!
