Best hotel we have stayed in, in Hokkaido !
Clean modern. Large rooms and bathroom. Amazing tasty buffet breakfast and dinner Staff super helpful and polite!

Highly recommended. Another plus is the buffet quality. Although I am not a fan of buffet.
New facilities- probably renovated not long ago.
A bit of a walk to the small town. But it’s ok since we like to walk.

Hotel Representative Rude, Belligerent and Unprofessional in Post Check Out Communication
Pizza.
Post checkout communication from hotel staff was rude and unprofessional, claiming that I "left without paying." When in fact I prepaid via booking.com and was assisted by KIKI staff at checkout. The gentleman working in the lobby even put the two room keys from my two rooms into the self checkout kiosk and pressed the computer screen for me and said that we were good to go, indicating that we had successfully checked out. Later that day, about 8 hours after checkout, I received an email from S san stating that I had left without paying. The email further inquired if I had a gmail account. The first email was so unprofessional of a hotel that I feared it was a scam. I replied to the email stating that we were assisted by KIKI staff at check out; checked out in front of KIKI staff; and were told by the KIKI staff that we had successfully checked out and that nothing else was required of us. What followed was two days of emails back and forth from S san, and in not one of the emails, did KIKI take responsibility for their mistake of not collecting onsen and accommodation tax (in the amount of 1,600 yen). S san basically called me a thief in the first email, and by the third he was certain that we had left the hotel when the computer screen showed that an amount was owed, implying that I was lying about properly checking out. As a KIKI Resort representative, S san was unprofessional to be so belligerent towards a hotel guest who just spent over 120,000 yen in KIKI resort over a two night stay. All for 1,600 yen, an amount I am happy to pay. Only I do not appreciate the tone nor demands of S san who continually placed the blame on a guest when in fact it was KIKI resort who failed-- at check in, at check out, and in subsequent communications. For this reason I will not stay at Kiki Natural Resort again. In fact, I would rather stay at the campground behind the resort than at KIKI.

sehr tolles Hotel, freundliches Personal, super Zimmer, schöner Onsen, kleiner Shop, gratis Tee / Kaffee in Lobby - 10/10
Verbesserungswünsche: viel mehr vegane & vegetarische Auswahl bei Frühstück & Abendessen + Kennzeichnung; Fenster regelmäßig putzen, damit man Meerblick auch genießen kann; 2 verschiedene Polster zur Auswahl stellen - nach Rückfrage bekam ich leider auch keinen besseren
