    This lodge is a true oasis in the middle of the wilderness. Thanks to the enormous waterholes right in front of the terrace and restaurant, guests are treated to an endless parade of elephants, zebras, buffaloes and giraffes, with the occasional rhinoceros or lion making a rarer appearance, usually after dark. Watching these magnificent animals come and go to drink is simply mesmerizing and gives the place an almost magical atmosphere. There is even a special wake-up list for guests who wish to be alerted during the night if one of the Big Five makes an appearance — a wonderful touch! The staff are just as exceptional as the setting: genuinely warm, welcoming and attentive, always ready to go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Our room was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with its own stunning views over the savannah and the wildlife. This is one of those rare places where you feel truly privileged simply to be there. I would return in a heartbeat — hopefully very soon!

    I had a wonderful stay and saw lots of animals from the comfort of the dining room and bar.

    It was very clean and the rooms were superb. Large and had all the amenities. The water hole was magnificent with lots of animals using it. The view was out of the world.
