Very unsatisfactory and disappointing. Don't believe the online description.
Had to go to a jungle behind the until to get the key. Took some searching. Key wouldn't open door without jiggling. Later even when lock opened, the door wouldn't open. I had to signal to my wife who was watching from the window to come down and open the door. Nothing said about it being on the 3rd level so struggle with 3 suitcases. Rooms very dark. Heater didn't work in bedroom kitchen or living room. Had microwave but plates didn't fit. Luckily we had our own paper plates that fitted. Who has a microwave but no plates that fit? No coffee making facilities and no spoons Had a washing machine in basement but no dryer. Told to used room in basement for drying but as leaving in the morning that was impractical. How hard would it have a dryer. Very unsatisfactory stay. Water pressure was abysmal especially the basin. Toilet didn't fill quickly. No bathmat or towel rack.

Large, modern apartment in great location on central shopping street.
Large, modern apartment right on the main shopping street in Reykjavik. Convenient parking (paid), helpful hosts, and comfortable bed. A great option for seeing the city and taking day trips. If you're looking for more space than a hotel in a great location, this is a great option.

Would book it again
Convenient to what I planned to walk and see in Reykjavik. It was very clean.
Narrow stairs to walk to third floor. The front door was hard to open (main door not apartment door)
