    Lovely little pub, We stayed 2 nights. Barry the Barman and the owners etc were all so lovely and accommodating. Our room (twin) was very spacious, the beds very comfortable. Toiletries and towels provided. The breakfast was fantastic. Lovely pub and lovely little town to visit.

    I found it easy to relax in this hotel and the fact there was a bar with a good range of beers helped. I would go back if I was back in the area.

    Historic stay

    Amazing building dating from 1400's. On opening my room door, WOW ! Super large room, light and bright with church view opposite, lovely clock chimes which were only just audible and didn't disturb sleep. Lovely modern large bathroom. Beams everywhere and slopey floors. Individually cooked breakfast excellent. The only thing to spoil things could be the early morning traffic, though it never awoke me. A REALLY LOVELY STAY.

    Clean spacious room in a friendly old pub, in the centre of the town. Staff are warm and accommodating. The shower in our room was clean with plenty of hot water. Large comfortable bed gave us a sound night’s sleep. A great stay at the price we paid and a lovely breakfast. 😊
