    Don't go if you want to use indoors and outdoor not transparent enough to talk about midge season...

    Location lake mountains

    I had just said 2 mins prior how wonderful this place was and how high end the photos were. As we pull in w family for a 70th bday vaca and celebration we see swarming of bugs as if there was rotting animals around. I mean like swrms you can see coveri other cars and everywhere.Not kidding g ..as soon as w we opened our vehicle swarm came in when we opened cabin door bugs came in. CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MORTIFIED I WAS. So we know we can't use outside porches don't know what these bugs are AND FIND ALMOST EVERY WINDOW WE CAN OPEN HAS A BROKEN OR ILL FITTING SCREEN. So now they are coming in. The walka tovredtaurant described was a .loud dive bar. Highlight was waitresses were nice and I borrowed their duct tape and taped up every screen . This alleviated our fears somewhat.... still no way to sit on porch get photos with mountains lake etc. I had to cancel celebration at house and just go to dinner. Midgets are apparently in season and very trouble s ome to us. If the cabin is rented at midge season it should be clear no out door ammenities which are part of the reason you stay there ...are not doable. They offered on day 3 to come get screens....repair...really?? In the middle of our stay ..no way. Linens clean, carpet old hard to tell if clean, bugs dead in all doorways cobwebs inside...get a real cleaning. Will never go again 3300+ for 4 days what a joke. It really hurt and embarrassed me when we got there...do better
