    Tranquility of the highest order

    Really beautiful setting and excellent location. A very large room, private with an amazing view from the balcony over the Moors. Clean, very comfortable, lots of room, glorious view, quiet. Restful, peaceful and very quiet. Excellent tasty breakfast, Ruth is an excellent cook and host. Very welcoming and friendly This is a real delight indeed. Breakfast was delicious - choice of cereals, yoghurt and fruit, full English - or a variation our favourite was the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Considering the size and location the room rate is very much on the low side, given what is offered it is great value for money. The setting and room exceeded our expectations. Ruth made us so welcome, fresh milk in the fridge with biscuits. Walks from the door, including alongside the river to Tarr Steps. Thank you for an excellent and relaxing stay.

    Extravagant

    The property was beautiful, lots of scenery with the very large garden to relax in. Room was also very large and very clean for us.
