Location and the breakfast was amazing.
The rooms are starting to look old and also need fans in the rooms as its hot and you cannot open the windows due to insects.

Definitely a place to visit
The historical site with serene gardens and excellent food at the restaurant.
The beds could do with an upgrade.

Beautiful gardens
A very beautiful retreat with stunning gardens and a rich history of the monks that lived there. Rooms are comfortable and quiet.
The WiFi and mobile signal was not good in the room.

A well-positioned guest house for our work in Ixopo, with a beautiful garden and setting.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service at dinner and breakfast was also good, as was the food. The room was clean.
The wifi was very poor, with no connection in the rooms. There seemed to be an electricity problem in Room 4, as the plugs had tripped early morning on 9 September, so that one could not use the kettle or any plug points. The washers in all the bathroom taps need replacing as they did not close properly, with continuous dripping.
