OK.
Good location but old with sloping floors.
We were given a room at the top of the property with steep stairs. Room was average but bed was on a slope.

Comfortable hotel in a beautiful location.
Comfortable, good sized room. Able to adjust thermostat to keep the room pleasant. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely dining room and bar area. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Some decor was tired, ladies toilets. No opening window in the bedroom so condensation gathers.

A very pleasant stay but there were a number of things in the rooms that could do with improvement.
The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of Masham. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The breakfasts were generous and tasty with a good selection
1)storage in the bedrooms was seriously lacking. There was a rail for clothes hangers but no drawers or shelves so there was nowhere to put anything that could not be hung up - very annoying. 2) A number of things that one would expect were missing such as no biscuits on the tea tray and no tissues. 3) the shower only had an overhead nozzle with a poor water flow. The restaurant food in the evening was basically pub grub and if one wanted something a little more up market it was necessary to go elsewhere.

Disappointed
The staff were so nice. We felt very welcome. Especially Jack was so helpful. We had a meal and it was good
Bed was hard. We couldn't sleep. We were on the top floor and the stairs were a problem. There was a smell of drains outside the room. There was blood on the sheet under the pillow. The room was not warm enough. Water pressure was low
