My favorite place on earth
Everything from the kindness of the staff to the beauty of the property. The food was delicious and the baths so relaxing.

Very expensive and not worth it. Better to stay at a hotel in town.
You can tell the building is new, and the hotel staff are very friendly. The shuttle drivers were by far the best, excellent service and lovely people! The reception staff were also friendly and helpful, but the service lacked a personal touch. Everything felt a bit robotic, and they gave us far too much information all at once, which was a bit overwhelming.
Check-in felt overwhelming, with too much unnecessary information given all at once. When we collected our room key, we were told we had to have a hotel tour first, even though we had already seen the facilities with the same receptionist! It felt very robotic, disorganised and unnecessary. Guests should at least be given the option. There is no restaurant or food available outside the included dinner, apart from some very expensive cheesecake in the lounge. The shop sells expensive gifts but no snacks. The smell of cooking oil, onions and fat was very strong throughout the corridors and in our room. We didn't ask to change rooms as we were only staying one night. Sleeping on a futon is an experience worth trying, but we didn't find it comfortable at all. In fact, it was very uncomfortable. Dinner was disappointing. The menu looked much better on paper, and apart from the beef and salmon, we didn't particularly enjoy the food. The service was extremely rushed, despite having a private dining room. The lady was lovely, but dishes arrived so quickly that it felt like a military operation to get us fed and out within 90 minutes! For the very high price we paid, we expected a relaxing onsen experience, but instead everything felt rushed and impersonal. Definitely not worth the money.
