    Interesting experience, great staff and food, but very overpriced

    Interesting experience, very traditional, if you’re going as a first timer to a ryokan then 1 night might be sufficient. Food was good and very traditional but you’re looking at a 15 set menu twice a day, it was way too much for us. Spa/massage was great too!

    Some parts of the rooms were dated, the smell of old furniture wasn’t pleasant and also the onsen looked sooo overused and old, it wasn’t as bad if you think about it but for how much they charge it was rather disappointing… they charge premium and position themselves as a luxurious hotel…
