The instructions to get to the property were super easy to follow. Once we arrived we loved exploring the property finding where everything was, taking note of what could go in which bins, of course attaching the kids to the internet, loved the little hamper was a much needed coffee (especially the decafe thankyou) and watching the kids pick rooms. We loved how everything was clean and tidy and labelled. The outside areas were perfect for sitting and having a coffee watching the sunset. The kids enjoyed naming the seagulls that came for a visit ( sadly they got no snacks from us, think the seagulls was gutted) and even a little frog in the front garden. The views from both areas were amazing, even with the thunderstorm that rolled in the kids loved watching the lightning hitting the cliffs at the other side of the sea. Also had them watching to see if they could see the dolphins in the sea from that high up. It was picture perfect. Everyone enjoyed the rooms they stayed in. It was easy to find and set up the baby travel cot. All was clean and tidy. Kept lovely and warm in the night and had everything we needed to have a nice sleep. I know we will miss the sounds of the waves at night coming through our windows and the amazing views from them. We enjoyed the dining room. Beautiful layout and fixtures. The table was amazing to have to be able to fit all of us round. having breakfast and tea fitting all 9 of us is not something we usually get to do so it was a great experience and brought all of us together more. The kids enjoyed the living room space and the TV, we managed to attach our switch to it too to play games together. The littlest especially enjoyed the smaller toys for her to play with. The property itself is an amazing accommodation to stay at. Everything is well planned out and great for big family get togethers.
There was a faint smell in the evening and early morning ,like a sewer smell,on the second landing (bedroom area) and kitchen. Opening windows and doors helped it leave though within a short space of time. We suspect it was a backup smell from use of the house and it was quick to leave. Also an issue with the drain pipe outside. Giving the children a bath, then emptying it, made it too much for the pipe outside and sadly ended up over splashing and sadly getting the people sat outside having a cuppa in the seating area.
