    Very peaceful

The road up to the property is “challenging”!

Genuinely like the cottage in ‘The Holiday’ remote but still excellently located to explore Cornwall

Wonderful wonderful location and property. Gorgeous views of both coasts and very cosy to return home to after a day of wandering and exploring.

Didn’t quite realise how remote though that was certainly part of the charm. Luckily we had a 4x4 to get down the bridle path to the property. However at first I arrived by taxi with a suitcase and had to lug it down the path like I was actually Cameron Diaz in the holiday! Had me laughing out loud however and well worth it. Wow wow wow.

Quiet, relaxed, well equipped and just what you need to escape city noise

-The tranquility of the cottage, there’s more chance of seeing a horse & rider than vehicles or pedestrians! -No road noise that we’d normally be used to - the owner had thought of everything! Even down to salt & pepper or travel toothbrushes & paste! The garden was so peaceful of an evening as the sun went down

Having to leave and return to work 💩

Cornwall has completely captured our hearts, and we already know we will return. 🖤

We absolutely loved our two weeks at Kitts Cottage. It is the perfect retreat: a sweet, cozy cottage where everything is designed for comfort and relaxation. The stove in the living room is wonderful on colder evenings, and the heating in the bedroom is also very appreciated. The bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and having both a washing machine and tumble dryer was fantastic during a longer stay. The garden is generous and beautiful, with a lovely seating area as well as an additional lounge spot with evening sun. The peace and quiet here are truly special. The location is perfect for exploring Cornwall, with both coasts reachable within about 20–25 minutes. Our dog loved it too. One small thing to note: the road leading to the cottage is quite adventurous. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it may be more difficult with a normal car, and you have to be careful with the hedge branches along the lane as they can scratch the vehicle. We felt incredibly at home here and will definitely return — Cornwall will not let us go anymore. 🖤
