  TLDR: if this property is available, book it! Our favorite place to stay in Japan so far!

  This is a wonderful comfortable traditional Japanese house with modern Air Con and heat, set in a quiet neighborhood just 10 min from the ferry terminal and 6 min from the Lawson convenience store. The beds are super comfy, kitchen fully equipped, and a lovely soaking tub with a huge picture window. The soaking tub looks out onto a white garden wall with a video projector and Amazon Fire Stick, so after a day of exploring you can relax in the tub and watch movies! The huge concrete dining room table is beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. The fridge is stocked with tasty beverages, and the wine fridge has several bottles ready for sipping. The deer will visit the property and it is fantastic making lunch in the kitchen as a deer ambles around just outside the windows. The host provides abundant towels, soaps, shampoos, and bed linens. No skimping or cutting costs here! We appreciated all the extra towels, especially with using the soaking tub so much. This was the perfect place to stay on Miyajima. We had stayed at a very nice hotel our last time on Miyajima, and this was so much more fun and more relaxing. Book it! Book it now before it goes away! You will not regret it!

  Water pressure is low, taking a while to fill the soaking tub. The trick is to shower before soaking, and not drain the water after using it. The next time you want to soak, add more hot water for about 15 min and walk around in the tub to mix the new hot water with the cooled water.

  No lo dudes: el mejor alojamiento

  El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado. Ubicación perfecta. La casa de estilo japonés tradicional es preciosa. La propiedad muy atenta y amable.

  No puedo decir nada malo. Solo que me gustaría haberme alojado más días

  Gorgeous Villa

  Beautiful private villa. Loved the complimentary drinks, garden, fish pond, ambience.

  Everything was great just wished I had stayed longer
