    Spacious rooms in an excellent location

    The room was really big and so quiet, and the hotel is right next to the castle and Kenrokuen garden which was amazing. The lobby has toys and activities for kids which is a lovely touch.

    My bed was very hard and uncomfortable with a hard pillow. I felt like the bathroom needed modernising as well.

    Nicht nochmal

    Der gegenüberliegende Park war schön. Die Rezeptionistin gab sich Mühe Englisch zu sprechen.

    Leider hat der Eindruck der Bilder nicht ganz mit der Realität vor Ort übereingestimmt. Das Hotel lag angrenzend an einen wunderschönen Park, es waren Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Zimmer war in einer der oberen Etagen. Beim Aussteigen aus dem Fahrstuhl konnte man direkt einen unangenehmen Geruch feststellen, wie von einem muffigen Teppich. Der Teppich auf den Fluren war auch bereits in die Jahre gekommen und schlecht verlegt. Das Zimmer selbst befand sich am Ende des Flures. An Sessel, Bett und Teppich waren Flecken zu erkennen. Das Furnier des Schreibtischs wies Blasenbildung auf. Vor dem Fenster befand sich eine Lampe die die ganze Nacht leuchtete, wodurch trotz Vorhängen eine Verdunklung erschwert wurde. Bei der Beschwerde wurde zunächst gegen Aufpreis ein Zimmerwechsel angeboten. Das wurde meinerseits abgelehnt. Nach weiterer Klarstellung, dass es so nicht ginge wurde für den nächsten Tag ein anderes Zimmer bereitgestellt. Auch dieses wirkte nicht viel besser, hatte aber weniger offensichtliche Flecken.
