    The lodging is modern and stylish. The staff are really good. The lobby is quite stylish. The breakfast is served in the lobby which turned out to be quite cool. We got to mingle with the other hotel guests. Also, the breakfasts and other meals were delicious. The hotel is walking distance (see comments below) to the Promenade mall, and that fact is a real bonus because this mall is quite nice.

    The road noise is really bad. The staff gave us earplugs to mitigate the road traffic noise while we were in the room sleeping. The plugds helped, but the noise was still overwhelming. We stayed in the hotel the week of the F1 Grand Prix race in Penang outside Kuala Lumpur, so it might be that the younger drivers were out racing through the city streets at night imitating the professional racers. The race cars created some extreme noise. Also, the road in front of the hotel is very busy, and the weekend we were there, the traffic/pedestrian light on one side of the road was knocked over by a car and did not work. Consequently, the pedestrian lights did not work. This made crossing the streets while walking on our way to the nearby Promenade mall unsafe. We are older, and this was a concern for us. Younger people ran across the street to avoid traffic. We could and cannot run well. Fortunately, the road crews reinstalled new pedestrian street lights within two days and got them functional, but until then, we crossed the streets while walking with trepidation as cars flew by us.

    Great hotel with friendly staff. Rooms is big and comfortable.

    Design, friendly staff, coffee downstairs, room size, location

    A bit on the noisy side, due to construction. But did not affect the quality of our stay.
