  Great Location, but Poor Hygiene, Dampness and Serious Maintenance Issues

  The only thing we liked about the property was its location, as it was within walking distance of everything.

  Here are the problems we experienced during our stay. These are not minor inconveniences but serious hygiene, safety, and comfort issues. For a property advertised as "luxury this is unacceptable. Bedroom: This was by far the biggest problem. The window shutter cannot be opened, meaning the room gets no natural daylight. The room is dark, damp, and has an extremely strong, unpleasant, and pungent smell. Both of us experienced sore throats and significant discomfort because of the smell throughout both nights. I also don't believe the dampness issue can be resolved with simple cleaning. The room needs regular and thorough ventilation, access to natural daylight, and, most importantly, the underlying cause of the dampness needs to be addressed. On top of that, the unnecessarily large wardrobe makes an already small room feel even more cramped, and it isn't particularly functional either. Honestly, it's the perfect room if you want to feel like you're sleeping in a prison cell. Toilet: Every time we flushed the toilet, water leaked from the floor tiles beneath it. Having to step in what appeared to be dirty toilet water was absolutely disgusting. Bathroom: The shower floor is not properly sloped toward the drain, so dirty shower water collects around your feet while you're washing. The bathroom light constantly flickers, which is extremely uncomfortable and even nauseating. It only stops flickering after being left on for quite some time. Kitchen: The bottoms of the drinking glasses have stubborn, deeply embedded stains that cannot be removed by washing. Basic amenities: There are no slippers provided. Considering the condition of the floors and the water leaking onto the bathroom floor, providing at least a pair of slippers for walking around the apartment or stepping onto the balcony would have been a reasonable minimum. Bedding: There are no lightweight blankets or bed covers provided.
