Nice little cabin, great staff, great location for the Cabot Trail
There are two rows of cabins and i was in the second row. Easy to find, right along the main road (there is a treeline buffer) so when you went for day trips you were on your way immediately. The cabin was clean, with a little living room, kitchenette, bathroom with tub and good sized bedroom. Parking was right out the door. These cabins are a bit older, but well taken care of with updated furniture and decor. I did picture myself enjoying the deck, but with the time of year and some of the bugs unfortunately i chose not to. The view of the water was great, you are high enough above the first row to see the ocean. Nicely treed property. The staff in the restaurant were super nice, very helpful and kind to all the cabin and restaurant guests. If you want to try other places to eat, you do have to drive into the hamlet to go for food and drink if you don't want the little resto at the cabins. Morning breakfast at the little resto was super handy tho, and the view! Really nice place to stay, good amount of room, very comfortable.
People walking by the front of the cabin could see into the living room area which some people may not be thrilled about. I understand you can close the curtain but then you can't see the view.
