    Great location. Too much air freshener/laundry softeners, cigarette smoke.

    The host is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. The location is 10/10.

    There was so much air freshener/laundry detergent (softener or laundry perfume) smell to a degree that is not normal. I started to have allergic reactions to the smells. There is also a lot of smoking either in and around the building which I think exacerbated it. The host was incredibly kind and re-washed the bedding in water only. This did nothing. I asked if we could instead wash it with vinegar and she said it would ruin the bedding. The first night I tried to sleep in the bed, but had an allergic reaction. The next night I slept on the couch using pants as a pillow and my jacket as a blanket, but I was still reacting to lingering smells in the apartment. There were previous reviews of a sewage smell sometimes present in the apt and I wonder if the host was trying to make up for it with strong scents. I requested to leave as I did not think I could handle the chemical smells any longer and the host made it very difficult for me to leave and I lost money in the process. She was very nice up until that point. It was a really stressful and hard time. I wish it was different and I understand that not everyone will have that experience, but I am writing this in case you are and to tell you to avoid this place if you are sensitive to chemicals or scents to any degree. I do not believe this was a normal amount of air fresheners/perfumes/laundry softener. Booking dot com also did not make it easy for me to leave. In the end I booked a safe and accommodating Airbnb.

    On the quiet side of the river. Short walk over the bridge to old town. Free private parking. Friendly host.
