Important note about booking our 2-bedroom/bathroom cottage (Turaco): When booking our 2-bedroom/bathroom cottage with children, children are charged child rate and they will be accommodated on the living room sleeper couch. If guests would like their children to be accommodated in the upstairs bedroom, the children will be charged adult rate (regardless of their age). Note that the upstairs bedroom is not suited for small children. When booking our 2-bedroom/bathroom cottage for 2 people, only the downstairs area with main bedroom/bathroom will be accessible (the 2nd bedroom upstairs will be locked). When our 2-bedroom/bathroom cottage is booked by 2 people who each want their own bedroom, a supplement for single occupancy will be charged. If our 2-bedroom/bathroom cottage is booked for 2 people only, and we get a request to host a larger group, we reserve the right to move them to one of our 1-bedroom cottages. General remark: We reserve the right to move guests to another cottage than the one they originally booked as all our cottages are of the same high standard.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Traumhaftes Idyll...
Die Unterkunft wird sehr professionell von Mira und Jochen geführt, und beide schaffen es dir das Gefühl zu geben man wäre der Erste und äußerst willkommene Gast. Dafür stehen sie jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung und haben für uns diverse schöne Ausflüge organisiert. Sie geben dabei den Gästen trotzdem sehr viel Freiraum und Privatssphäre. Das Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht und man hat somit ein traumhaftes Frühstück auf der sehr komfortablen Terasse. Wünsche von uns waren sehr willkommen und es wurde alles drangelegt sie zu erfüllen.

Very disappointing experience - "dirty” and unsafe.
Very disappointing experience with Booking.com. We booked and paid for **two rooms** (including one for our baby), but the second room was locked and the host refused access, claiming it was “dirty” and unsafe. We were even sent disturbing messages suggesting harm to our child, and told to put the baby in the lounge instead. Even if there’s fine print, the **listing is clearly misleading** — it was presented as two usable rooms, which is why we booked. Unacceptable situation and very concerning that this is allowed on the platform.
