The location is great. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet with direct waterfront views, this is the perfect accommodation for you.
The hotel staff didn’t speak much English, which made communication a little challenging, but we managed to get by using Google Translate. As the hotel is listed on Booking.com, I would have expected the staff to have at least a basic understanding of English. Unfortunately, one interaction with a front desk staff member left us feeling uncomfortable. I was simply and politely following up on something we had previously asked about when he pointed at me and said, “WAIT!” I understand that language barriers can make communication difficult, and perhaps there was a misunderstanding, but the way he responded felt unnecessarily abrupt. Another thing we found unusual was that advertising announcements occasionally played over the speakers in our hotel room. We found this quite disruptive and unpleasant.
