    Perfect cottage for a Mudgee stay

    The property was the perfect size for our family stay. It had charm and was very clean and well presented. The location enabled us to walk to everything in town and a short drive to the wineries where we attended a family wedding.

    We loved the cottage and that was our third stay. We love Mudgee.

    We have stayed in this property twice before and it was looking a bit sad last year. It was good to see that it had been given a makeover.

    The host forgot to send all the information about getting into the property and was slow to respond as he/she was abroad.

    Overall we enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

    The location was excellent and the kitchen was well equipped. A washing machine was a bonus. The owner gave us excellent recommendations about good coffee and pastries nearby which we sampled a couple of times.

    There were two bedrooms without bedside lamps and one bedroom has 6 down lights which made it so bright that it was difficult to read. We had difficulty with unlocking the back door and had to walk around the block and go in the front. The screen door also stuck. We realise the property is on the market but some attention to these issues will make for a more stress free stay for visitors in the future.
