    Overall is great!

    The Ryokan was fabulous! Everything is clean and tidy, coffee, tea and all the amenities are in the room, lavatory. The view was great! The best view to the Kyoto which we had. Staff is also very helpful and nice. The hot bath after a long day was the best thing ever. It’s good that you could book your time in bath to make it private.

    Traditional Japanese breakfast was not our favorite and the price is a little bit steep.

    Three days in this end made our entry to Japan, comfortable, easy, and enjoyable without having to worry about the hustl

    Excellent location, walking distance to excellent temples, the geisha District, all Japan, and kimono rental, tea ceremony, Kintsugi, and anything else you want. The property itself was very, very comfortable in a Japanese family style. The breakfast was great for a traditional Japanese breakfast. The staff was wonderful and helpful.

    It is an old-fashioned inn, so expect the rooms to be in older style decor, although it is part of the charm.
