  Love it just the noise was difficult to sleep as a light sleeper

  The location is fine, and the apartment is really cute, cosy, and very clean! The people managing the apartment are also very kind and helpful. I did struggle a little to get into the apartment at first, but here's a helpful tip: after unlocking the door with your key, simply turn the handle to the right to open it. 😄 Also, keep in mind that whenever you leave the apartment, you need to lock the door with your key. Otherwise, people can simply open it and walk in. Unlike in a hotel, where the door locks automatically when you close it, this door needs to be locked manually with a key. It might seem obvious, but I thought I'd share this little tip to help future guests

  This is just a tip for the owners, nothing else. I really loved the apartment, but there is always room for improvement! There are a few things I wish I had known before booking this apartment, and to be honest, I wish I had read about them in the reviews beforehand. Noise: The area outside and inside the building can be quite noisy. I am a light sleeper, and even small noises can wake me up easily. You should know that the apartment is on the ground floor, which means the entrance door used by the other apartments is right next to your door. Both during the day and at night, you can hear people coming in and the door closing quite loudly because it doesn't close softly. You can also hear cars passing by, as they have to drive past your door to reach the entrance to the neighbouring building. There is also a bar on the same street, so you will hear people talking outside until the bar closes. Windows and fresh air: The large window was closed and couldn't be opened, but you can open the bathroom window. The only thing is that the rubbish bins are right outside that window. However, I didn't notice any bad smells, and fresh air still came into the apartment! Cleanliness and facilities: I am always very respectful of any apartment I stay in. I treat it like my own home and always keep it clean. The owners even provide shampoo and clean towels, and they also provide slippers, which is a nice touch. I didn't cook during my stay, but the apartment has everything you need if you want to cook. The carpet: I agree with some of the other reviews about the carpet. It isn't dirty; you can see that it is clean, although there are a few visible stains that don't seem to come out. Perhaps if guests took off their shoes before walking on it, it would stay in better condition. However, even though the carpet is clean, it does have a slight musty smell, almost like the smell of clothes that haven't dried properly.

  Excellent location and communication with host

  Location and cleanness. Excellent communication with host. Very comfortable for couples and walking distance to popular places like Navigli and metro station. Thank you Cecilia for all your help and explanation to get to the place and enter the property. Definitely I will recommend.

  Very good

  The room was comfortable and the location was excellent. Very close to restaurants and bars as well as public transport.

  There was a mishap with the keys. They were supposed to leave them in a keybox outside but it was nowhere to be found. They made me take a video of the door to believe that there were in fact no keys🙄 After an hour the owners showed up to open the door for us while we waited on the street. They could have at least offered late check-out or a discount on the price but I guess it didn't occur to them.

  OK but overpriced

  The place is clean and it has what you see in the photos, apart from light and the fact that it's a basement, so you are basically in a nice cave. The host was responsive and the location is very convenient and quiet.

  The photos are misleading, the place is a basement, there is no light coming through the window and the curtains needs to be closed at all times because you are at street level. It is also incredibly cold even when we realised that the heating was off and switched it on, it is just not enough to properly warm up the place. The rest was fine but these problems make the price they ask absolutely too high for what you can find in the same area (I come to Milan often).
