A beautiful hidden getaway in Porto.
This was a superb place to stay. Hidden behind an unassuming doorway on an ordinary street is a remarkably beautiful getaway spot. First one steps into a beautifully appointed apartment with anything a visitor could wish for. The back door leads to a terrace suitable for a group meal, or a solitary read. There one is surrounded by greenery. Up some stairs is a grassy, well-kept yard, then further up a pool with anything outdoor kitchen and a table and chairs waiting under a large tree. From there, one can take in views of the city. We were lucky to be guests during a lunar eclipse and it was amazing to experience it from our lofty perch. The hosts are friendly and interested in guests. It was nice to meet them instead of receiving instructions for codes and keys. They made our visit special, including providing a yoga mat. I will keep this property on my list of favorites!

Unique property in an amazing location wonderful hosts.
The property is ideal for a family of four with teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space comfortable. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout even by the pool. The design of the property was really clever and thoughtful. The garden area at the top of the property was really lovely. It was secluded and peaceful whilst being in a city.
Nothing the hosts, location and well thought out property make it one of our nicest stays ever.

The hosts were excellent - friendly and helpful. Location was good. Although not in the centre of things, it was about 6-8 minutes walk to two different metro stops and similar to a supermarket. Also, the bed was very comfortable, even for someone like me with a demanding back, so if that's a top priority for you too, this is the place.
The flat is on the ground floor and parts of it can be a little dark. That said, it was also nice and cool - temperatures hit 35° a couple of days we were there yet we rarely needed the air conditioner. It did seem a bit expensive to me, but I knew that in advance.

Possibly the nicest apartment we have stayed in through Booking.com or similar.
Beautifully renovated, spacious. Great outdoor area (but it’s set into a hill so a bit of a climb up steps to reach it). Excellent place to entertain if you’re in a group. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Also, the beds are very comfortable.
Most of Porto is very hilly, and this neighbourhood is no exception.
