We had an amazing stay at La Borragine! The location of was absolutely beautiful. Valentina was such a helpful and kind host. The breakfast was great as well!

Heaven above Positano! ❤️
Honestly, my partner and I felt like we were in heaven!! The location was breathtaking - above Positano in Nocelle. Short 20 minute or so public bus into the hustle and bustle of Positano. Breakfast each morning felt so special and beautiful - we felt so lucky to have chosen La Borragine Rooms!

L'Italia, così bella e autentica! La Borragine ist ein familiengeführtes Bed and Breakfast im beschaulichen und wunderschön gelegenen Bergdorf Nocelle, das sich oberhalb von Positano in den Bergen der Amalfiküste befindet. Während Positano zwar wunderschön aber mittlerweile sehr touristisch und entsprechend voll in der Hauptsaison ist, ist dieser Ort ein Ruhepol mit malerischem Blick auf Positano. Mariangela und Valentina führen das Bed & Breakfast mit ihren Eltern im Elternhaus in Nocelle. Die ganze Familie lebt seit mehreren Generationen dort und kennt sich daher uneingeschränkt gut aus. Dieser Ort sucht seinesgleichen. Die ganze Familie ist einfach wundervoll! Alle sind sehr nett und freundlich, sehr interessiert und wirklich rundum perfekte Gastgeber! Wir hatten das Vergnügen schon viel zu verreisen und der Standard in diesem B&B ist nach unseren Erfahrungen besser als in vielen Sternehotels. Zu unserer persönlichen Meinung und Erfahrung: - viele der negativen Bewertungen können wir nur schwer nachvollziehen. Z.B. Der Ort ist im Berg gelegen, eine Straße bis nach Nocelle gibt es erst seit 2001. Entsprechend ist der Ort durch viele Treppen gekennzeichnet, man ist eben im Berg. Viele Touristen denken sie machen den super Positano-Deal und schreiben dann schlechte Bewertungen, weil sie die Treppen nehmen müssen. Hier muss man sich meiner Meinung nach einfach vorab besser informieren. Die Gastgeber jedenfalls ließen uns im Vorfeld genügend Informationen und Hilfe zukommen. Wir hatten NIE Probleme und waren vorher schon hier. Uns wurde auch jederzeit Hilfe und Unterstützung angeboten, wenn wir diese benötigten. - Es gibt verschiedene Wege von der Küste bzw. Positano nach Nocelle: - Taxi ~ ca. 50€ pro Fahrt - Roller - Auto (Parken in Positano recht teuer, in Nocelle begrenzte Parkmöglichkeiten) - Der öffentliche Bus (Ticket 1,30€ (Ticketkauf in offizieller Verkauffstelle) bis 1,80€ pro Tour p.P. (1,80€ bei Kauf im Bus - nur Cash!
