The host, Pasquale, is really friendly and offers airport pickup - strongly advised. Location: between the Maria Pia beach and a good supermarket Nonna Isa. Also close to a Wednesday's market. Note: The Old City is about 45 min away by foot. Beach mats, umbrellas and beach toys for kids are provided.
The right property address is Viale Europa 95a but it can hardly be found on Google maps anyway - use guidance from the host. The air-conditioning is weak and barely cover the living room. Both bedrooms remain hot even at night - sleeping was pretty uncomfortable. Plus, the air-conditioning comes for the additional price - 0.5 Euro fee for 1kWh. Could be reasonable to avoid overuse by tenants - but anyway that should be noted in advance. 2nd floor - no elevator: not the perfect choice if you have a baby stroller for a daily use. The property is spacious but a bit outdated and cluttered/overloaded with some old stuff: the ewer in the bathroom looks great but occupies a lot of space and completely useless for a tenant. Kitchen drawers are also overloaded - so, you could struggle to open it. And I would also strongly advise to use some silicone lubricant for the shower doors or it could stuck or break soon. We were also unlucky to face two huge American cockroaches in the living room, near the entrance door, once. The host assured us it never happened before and I tend to believe him as the problem did not recur anymore. The property neighborhood is a bit messy.
