    Like visiting a beloved aunt in the white village

    Very much the feeling of visiting a beloved old aunt. A bit frumpy but it had everything and was lovingly decorated. In the middle of the old town and close to bars, restaurants and shops. Also hiking. A well-stocked kitchen.

    One should be aware of a few issues. It is very tight driving in Gaucin. There are 3 parking possibilities but they are also tight. Leaving the town itself took almost 30 minutes, because of blocked-off streets (construction) and one-way streets. Several people mentioned the terrace being accessible through their private quarters, but it was fine for us. One should know, however. The only little criticism was that the bedsheets were on the old side and smelled a bit.

    A super little house with a lovely host.

    The host was well organised and very helpful. She went out of her way to ensure we were well informed about arrival arrangements and ensured we were comfortable once in the house. The accommodation was extremely clean and adequately furnished. The house is at the side of a road but this didn't cause any undue disturbance. The shutters ensured that the house could be kept cool during the hot weather(34degrees) The views from the terrace are lovely especially at sunset!

    We have no negative comments at all.

    Die Lage der Wohnung war sehr gut.Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr geholfen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war komfortabel.
