    Host agreed to refund and then deleted messages

    The apartment was fine but smaller than it appeared in the pictures. It was clean and well located.

    We booked for a local bike event at the end of May. The apartment didn't have a terrace and balcony like it advertised. The pool was empty and closed despite it advertising a year-round pool. The host was nice at first and was very apologetic. She said that booking.com was supposed to change the add about the pool but they didn't. She agreed to refund us via WhatsApp but then deleted all the messages and never refunded us. We were very disappointed.
