It was an amazing start to my S.Italy tour. Matera is beyond words but I wouldn't feel so comfortable if it wasn't for the hospitality of Pasquale. He will make you feel like home, guide you on everything and provide you with top quality local breakfast materials. If you also cycle like me, your bike will have a safe spot in a garage too. Room was spot clean, and in perfect location where old town starts.. Highly recommended

An Exceptional Stay with an Oustanding Host!
We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely superb, just steps away from Belvedere di Piazza Giovanni Pascoli and within walking distance of all the main points of interest. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, making it the perfect base for exploring Matera. The apartment was spotless, exceptionally well equipped, and thoughtfully designed to be both functional and comfortable. A washing machine, dryer, and iron are also available on the ground floor, which is a very convenient extra. The terrace was a real highlight, providing a lovely space to relax and enjoy our stay. But what truly made this experience exceptional was the host, who went above and beyond in every possible way. We were welcomed with an incredibly generous selection of food and drinks, such a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The host also helped us find free parking, assisted us with our luggage, and provided excellent recommendations on what to see and where to eat. He even shared fascinating historical insights that made our visit all the more enriching. It is rare to find such a perfect combination of an excellent location, a beautiful and impeccably clean apartment, thoughtful amenities, and genuine, outstanding hospitality. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Matera!

Excellent endroit pour visiter cette belle ville.
Accueil par le fils de l’hôte et qui nous a emmené a un parking gratuit pas très loin de l'habitation. Le frigo rempli à notre arrivée qui nous à bien dépanné. les petits déjeuners variés et excellents. La proximité de l'habitation pour visiter Matéra.

A wonderful stay!
Our stay was wonderful, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We couldn’t have been happier! Pasquale was incredibly kind, personable, and responsive, making us feel truly welcome. We especially appreciated the breakfast items, fresh food, and thoughtful touches. The location was perfect, and everything we needed for a memorable stay was provided. It was also lovely to hear the family history and receive additional local recommendations. Highly recommended!
