    lovely room in a charming lakeside town

    Peschiera is a delightful town on the southern shore of Lake Garda and La Casa in Paese is well positioned in a quieter street off the busy main thoroughfare. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the station, and the Lake Garda boat dock is five minutes’ away. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby, and you can walk along the town wall above the moat which surrounds the old town. Our host Omar was a most charming and enterprising fellow, describing some interesting details of his family’s excellent building renovation. Our room was quiet and spacious and very well appointed. Everything was spotlessly clean with quality bed and bath linens. Continental breakfast was offered in the cafe below where Barbara looked after us well during our visit. A definite return next time we are in Peschiera.
