    Adorable flat, great location, super host!

    After a freak accident in the Dolomites derailed my plans to do some serious walking in Spain, I decided to spend a few days in 5Terre for some Dolce far Niente —and was so fortunate to find this adorable place! The best part is the host Franco, who is a true gem. He met me at the station, carried my heavy pack, and not only had he cleaned the place but he had stocked it with provisions! I have stayed in many flats/ rooms in 5Terre over the decades and have never encountered such wonderful hospitality. He also advised me on some hikes and interesting outings from a local’s point of view that I will save for next time. Before staying here, I had skimmed thru the reviews and would like to offer my 2c worth. The train noise is distant and not bothersome- more like distant thunder. I found it soothing. The apt is in the heart of the town, above a restaurant and yes, ppl get lively here! It’s part of the charm. But for someone who needs peace and quiet in the evening, this wouldn’t be a good fit.

    The facilities exceeded my expectation. It is very close to both the train station and the beach.

    It's a little bit difficult to find the place since we cannot notice where it is.
