    the woman who cares for the property, Anna, was waiting for us and met us with a pot of hot, herbal tea. (local herbs i think?) we especially liked the large fireplace and plenty of wood to burn. The days we stayed were rainy and cool – perfect weather for a cozy fire. The house is high in the hills, quiet, and strong breezes of fresh air. During sunny times there are chairs on the balcony with a view over the valley. We live in Punta Cana and plan to return here and cool off during the hot season.
