  The reality did not match the expectation.

  The view and location is very good. The apartment is very tired with many things below standard. The wi fi didn’t work and we wasted hours trying the numbers on the device and calling the host but none worked.The air conditioning was inadequate and we roasted and consequently couldn’t sleep at night. Three light bulbs had failed, there were spares but honestly we would expect small things like this to be checked before a new guest arrives. The bathroom made us very uncomfortable with disgusting brown scum caked on the flexible door seal, brown stained grouting around the tiles, the shower waist was not properly located no doubt because the drain is blocked. The only way to shower was to use the had set to wet yourself then turn the water off, then soap yourself then turn the water on to rinse otherwise the cubical flooded. The basin tap has lost its black finish adding to the tired unkept . The toilet has an unpleasant very prominent yellow stain at the back of the bowl. Moving on to the furniture. Two of the three drawers in the chest of drawers are broken , one is very difficult to open and close, the bottom of the lower drawer has fallen out so we just had to use our suitcases for the majority of our clothes. The dining chairs are worn and tatty but the most unacceptable element and the last straw was the cockroaches we discovered in the bedroom and kitchen cupboard. Luckily booking.com wear able to find us a hotel room within walking distance and we moved out at 2.00am. I’m sorry to have to leave this unfavourable report but the whole apartment needs upgrading.

  I didn’t like the cockroaches, the filthy bathroom the broken chest of drawers, the shabby chairs ,the inadequate air conditioner , the fact that the windows don’t lock in a ground floor apartment.
