Great accommodations and location.
The accommodations were large and clean. In fact, surprisingly large. A full size kitchen. There were 3 of us, but it would have still been comfortable for twice as many. The bathrooms were large, but neither were connected to the bedrooms. This did not bother us though. The washing machine and kitchen appliances worked well. There is some street noise from the restaurants below. It bothered one of the guests, but I was fine. This is a fantastic location in the center of the walled city. We were provided with a lemon cake upon arrival. One of the air conditioners did not work when we arrived. However, there were fans in the storage room that worked just fine for the temperature this time of year. Good communication with the host. The little patio was nice for outdoor sitting. As long as you have no problem with some of the rules, I would recommend staying here while in Lucca. It is unusual to find this size space for what I consider a great price.
In my opinion, there were some strict rules that were not common like not using your disposable razor in the shower. We were provided with a magnetic card to access garbage cans that were minutes from the apartment. I do not think you should have to go searching for garbage disposal if you are paying a significant cleaning fee. (Note: I see that Airbnb is addressing this issue, and I hope other rentals will follow.)
