Prachtig huis

We waren met een vriendengroep van 8 mannen. De accommodatie heeft 4x2 losse bedden dus dat was voor ons perfect. Dat gold ook voor de 3x badkamer + toilet beneden. De keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden om zelf 1x lekker diner te koken en ook voor ontbijt. Tussendoor wel de vaatwasser laten draaien of de vaat doen. De host gaf ons als tip dat recent de hangbrug "Passerelle himalayenne de Sainte-Cécile" was geopend. Dit is een spectaculaire hangbrug van 185 meter op 30 meter hoogte over de Semois. Vanuit de accommodatie konden we een heel mooie rondwandeling naar deze brug maken en weer terug langs de Semois, waarbij we circa 2,5 uur onderweg waren.
De centrale ruimte beneden wordt verwarmd met een pelletkachel en de het was al snel veel warmer dan we op de kachel als temperatuur hadden ingesteld. In diverse ruimtes zou de woning nog mooier kunnen worden door snoeren en leidingen verder weg te werken.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison était parfaitement équipée : tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin au quotidien était disponible, jusque dans les moindres détails. Les propriétaires ont vraiment pensé à tout, y compris à mettre des jeux de société à disposition, ce qui a été très apprécié. On s'y sent comme à la maison. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter !
