  Great location. Uncomfortable bed and unusual booking process

  The location was perfect for use of the La Nogalera bars, and close to town and the beach. The pool area was nice as there was always a sunbed (early october). The apartment was large and well equipped and clean and the balcony was spacious, with amazing views of the sea, town and mountains.

  The bed was very uncomfortable. It's a small double, and creaked very loudly with just the smallest bit of movement. More pillows and covers for the pillows could have been good. A larger sheet that fit the bed, rather than two single sheets would have been better too. There was building work going on in a nearby apartment when we stayed, so there was loud drilling on the weekdays from around 8am - though i understand that it was just us being unlucky for the week we stayed. The booking process was a bit of a nightmare to be honest. I've used booking.com for all of my hotel stays for over a decade now, and this was the first time where i was been referred to external sites to make multiple payments. It was fine in the end, but as it's unusual we did feel like we may be getting scammed, and booking.com didn't reply when i checked with them. Also, although it does say that check in is until 10pm, do be aware if you check in after this time they will charge you 80 euros. They need a person to check you in on arrival, which is the reason for a late check-in fee. I feel this should have been made more clear on the advertisement. I'm used to just getting a key from a lock box on arrival, so this was unusual to me, however on arrival it was easy to see why a lock box style check-in is just not viable for this building. Would I stay again? - definitely if they upgraded the bed and I was arriving in the daytime.

  Beautiful view from the window, close to the train station and shops, and not far from the beach.

  I would like to emphasize that the beds, both of them, were very uncomfortable. The towels and bed linen were clearly worn out, and the apartment was somewhat dirty. The vacuum cleaner available in the closet was in terrible condition. It would also be great if a beach umbrella were provided, as it is difficult to bring one when traveling by plane.

  Sehr schöne, angenehme Urlaubstage

  Tolle großräumige Wohnung, mit Meerblick.

  Einziger Kritikpunkt waren für uns die Betten, die uns etwas zu klein waren. Ansonsten alles super.
