    On the plus side, the room size and the hotel's closeness to the city centre were both better than a taller hotel I stayed at in the same city.

    Despite seeming freshly finished just last year, the hotel has aged remarkably fast, with a bird nest in the hallway, no elevator despite being four stories, peeling walls, spiders and their webs in the room, a broken bathroom tap, and no hot water even though a heater was installed.

    There was no stay because the room was unacceptable.

    The hotel was nothing like what was advertised at Booking.com. The room was unattractive and the shower leaked. In fact, I tried to cancel my reservation and had to book another hotel. I asked for a refund twice and was ignored.
