    Disappointing.

    The location was good. It was in close proximity to nice restaurants, shopping and public transport.

    The unit had a terrible smell of sewerage which required us to avoid the accommodation for as long as possible and is a health and safety risk. The odour was present throughout the whole stay, getting progressively worse over days due to the weather to the point where we had to check out early and move hotels. When the property manager was advised of the issue they did attempt to resolve this but it was insufficient. The only action taken was to visit with a plumber, pour something down the drain and run water which is not enough to ensure it did not continue to persist. They advised us this was all that could be done until we vacated. Due to the inconvenience throughout from this issue and needing to check out early, we sought compensation from the manager who accused us of blackmail and attempting to scam them. Completely inappropriate behaviour to treat to a customer with. We should not be forced to spend our holiday in accommodation with that smell.

    Location close to but away from the restaurant area. It worked, once we found it.

    Wrong entry description (referring to a picture that wasn’t included). So despite we had the keys from a nearby bar, where we chose to stay, coming late, we couldn’t find it in the middle of the night. There are many entry doors in the complex, and we couldn’t knock them or try the key in all the doors. We had to call the numbers listed in the middle of the night. But we were then let in. Had they only attached the right picture to the description, we could have avoided all that.
