Like stepping into a romantic Italian movie. Absolutely magical!
Some hotels offer a great stay. Others give you an experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life. La Playa is definitely the second kind. From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we had stepped into a romantic movie set somewhere along the Italian coast. The entire property is breathtakingly beautiful, with extraordinary architecture, stunning interior design, and a timeless atmosphere that makes you feel as though you’ve traveled back in time. Every corner of this hotel has its own charm and character. It’s difficult to put into words just how special this place feels. There is something truly magical about it. The breakfast was phenomenal, easily one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and having plenty of complimentary parking was another wonderful bonus. The location is absolutely fantastic, perfectly situated in the charming town of Carmel-by-the-Sea. We visited as part of our honeymoon, and this hotel genuinely made us feel like we were living in a romantic film. We found ourselves wishing we could stay much longer. La Playa isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s a destination in itself. An absolute must-stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough!
The rooms are relatively small, which is worth keeping in mind when booking. However, the overall experience was so exceptional that it honestly didn’t bother us at all. Everything else was simply too perfect.
