It wasn’t horrible, and if I wasn’t coming down for such a difficult reason, I would’ve pursued another location to stay
I like the where the place was located, and at night the outside of the place looks pretty decent. The rooms were very spacious. Very close proximity to the airport and two shopping. Vending machines were not convenient for modern day guests who don’t carry cash.
Aesthetics is everything sometimes. Unfortunately, this place is kept in a way that suggests that its guests don’t mind. They don’t mind seeing us just store things out in the open. They don’t mind the fact that we used a cheap old balcony chair as our main chair when you walk in the door. They don’t care that you see where we keep all of our trash and all of our work on laundry so we’ll leave all those doors wide open.. no need to check the parking lot for trash. They don’t mind that we don’t offer refrigerators in the room or that the ice machine doesn’t work on most of the floors. They’ll be OK.

Nice, but a little pricey.
Two of the staff members were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
One staff member at the front desk was rude and acted like they hated their job. That staff member is the reason why I gave the lower overall score for the staff. The room rates are high but maybe that's normal for the location. I don't like seeing hair in the shower/tub when I stay at a hotel and I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions, in two different rooms, and both rooms had hairs in the bathroom.
