    The mold was horrific

    The location was good, close to the train station and easily walkable all the way to Portofino. The owner sent me a message on the day of arrival with instructions on how to reach the apartment, which was great.

    One word sums up this accommodation: mold. As soon as we opened the door, we could smell the terrible smell of mold, and it was very difficult to be in the room; sleep was awful because of it, and you could sense the wetness of the walls throughout the night (we spent the daytime outside the accommodation). If they intend to keep renting the room, they need to change the AC, as it is also moldy. They need to place a huge dehumidifier that they will regularly empty and keep the AC on lower degrees 24/7 for 365 days a year; otherwise, the mold will be present forever, no matter how many times they paint it over (they did paint it, but the smell gave away the presence of mold still, and there were spots of it to be seen both in the room and in the bathroom). And as for the plastic cups for tea that I had to mix with cold water in, so the cups wouldn't melt - my late, illiterate grandma had a steel spoon and a ceramic mug for tea, in the middle of a mountain, 80 years ago, and I think that sums it up. We were too tired to search for other options, as we were on the road for 3 days already, and everything was also super expensive, with no guarantee that it would not be moldy as well in the city, and also we stayed for only two days, so we managed somehow. But should one 'put up' with anything like this, for these prices per night, when on vacation? Unfortunately, we will not come back to this place.

    Buen lugar para alojarse cerca de Portofino

    La ubicación muy buena, cerca de todo. El baño muy amplio e impecable.

    Debería estar mejor señalizado para encontrarlo al llegar. Ofrece cafetera pero no hay tasas
